[Mister VCS]

Game Info

Mario's got Papa Donkey Kong locked in a cage. Surrounded by jawsnapping creatures,

Little Junior races against time, climbing up and swinging across vines to reach the

special key which will free his Papa. If he's successful, he advances to another game

screen and must pick up even more keys, encountering more dangers. It's a challenge for

even the most seasoned players!



Patch Challenge

Score between 80,000 and 100,000 points and you will receive 1 bonus point!

Score 100,000 points or more and you will receive 2 bonus points!



Skill level 2

My best advice would be to be quick about finishing the boards but not so much as to take too many chances, especially on the keys/cage boards. Be extra careful when inserting the keys with the snapjaws milling about on top. They love to change direction and come rushing down the chain you are on. You can also try to bait them into coming down a particular chain, one with a fruit to drop on them. If the snappers are pacing above you when you're on a chain about mid level, try to stay on the one with the fruit to entice them to chose that one to travel on. Then when they do make a double handed dash up the adjacent chains to get in position to drop the fruit on the beastie when it goes by. I'm not certain if this really works or it's my imagination. But it seems to sometimes anyways
On the birds/springboard level always try to get the double height jump on the springboard. As soon as you hit the springboard hit your fire button again and you should bounce up twice as high. Time this with the smaller moving platform so you can get on it from there and save yourself from taking the longer route and possibly getting an egg dropped on your head. Most people probably know this but I just wanted to mention it just in case.

...this game is fun and frustrating - maybe I should use another joystick; I think the standard CV stick isn't the best choice for this game.

DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

scratch my score I didn't even see that it was for skill level 2. I just took it for granted it was skill Level 1.

Ill try skill level 2 and see how it goes.

I had a score of about 280,000 for skill 1 but the camera didn't get the picture dam flash or glare.

Managed to squeeze in another few games and to increase my low score by a very small amount to 31,700. Just couldn't seem to get my technique right - agggghhhhh.
