Continuing on with spooky horror fun! Yes, it's time to play Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse!

Post a score and let's get this thing rolling!

Please post any tips you may have - best tip gets 1 bonus point. No continues - only games played from the beginning count! No leeching! (E.g., going offscreen via stairs up or down, and then going back to that previous screen so that all of the candles and moneybags within are replenished.) And no passwords or secret names/codes.

Ended up getting an extra thousand after the screen shot just before getting killed.

The only things that really matter in the different routes are which companions you find and whatever boards you might find easier to handle. So actually it's just a matter of preference.
