Hi guys,

Happy New Year from New York!! Its 12:23 AM here in the Bronx and I wanted to kick things off in 2009 with a game that I haven't played in 12 years and decided to play again. I defeated Warioland: Super Mario Land 3 for the original Game Boy.

I was playing it for 2 days and I paused it before defeating the genie boss 5 minutes after the ball dropped in times square.

Great game, I think i'll start another file again later on in the day.

Anthony....

Having a lot of time to play games is the best part of the winter holidays!

Just beat Devil May Cry. Some great moments in this one, especially towards the end.

Overall I was a bit disappointed though, it didn't really live up to my high expectations. Basically it's Resident Evil dumbed down for action kids who prefer button mashing ;)

Lego Batman for the Nintendo DS. All in all a decent game it was colorful, graphics are tight, and the gameplay was interesting although it did get somewhat repetitive with the same things to build over and over. I was always a fan of the TV show and the books more than the movies so the sheer variety of characters appealed to me. And playing as the villains was a nice touch too!

I defeated Pokemon Snap for the N64 a few days ago. I was surprised at how much fun that silly game was. A novel concept for a rail shooter and quite entertaining even for a 30 year old like me. Or maybe I just have low standards.

Hi,

Low standards?! Certainly Not. You have A+ Standards amigo!! I'm 25 and my brother Frankie who is 21, have spent hours playing Pokemon Snap. Classic N64 game and from the franchise. We feel that Pokemon is the best thing since slice bread!

MDK for the PC. I played it on the Mac initially about 10 years ago, and discovered that I had it for the PC on my CD case.

While not as flashy as some newer games, it's fun and wacky. :)

I'm now installing Delta Force to see if I can finish it. I tried once before, got to the last mission and had to reload the PC.

I just beat Shining Force for Genesis.

The ending to that game is weird! Is that Adam there at the end? It's a shame the the second game is a completely new story. It would've been nice to have a little bit more info.

So far I've only beaten Trauma Center: Under The Knife 2. I've got to finish the rest of the campaigns in Left 4 Dead, and then figure out a stubborn spot in Mirror's Edge... and possibly finish the story modes in MK vs. DC Universe.
