Here are my times for this week (December 21st through 27th):

The classic games (relevant for the Top 10):

Shanghai (TI-99) 147 minutes in 3 sessions (I think I'm finished with that now)
St. Nick (TI-99) 138 minutes in 2 sessions (I'm finished with that one too)
Parsec (TI-99) 79 minutes in 2 sessions
Slymoids (TI-99) 70 minutes in 2 sessions
TI Invaders (TI-99) 19 minutes
Hen pecked (TI-99) 15 minutes (pretty easy to finish if you know how to survive)
Super Space Acer (TI-99) 11 minutes
Tombstone City (TI-99) 11 minutes
Super Pacman (Demo) (2600) 3 minutes (yes, I really spent 3 minutes staring at that demo!)

The non-classic games (irrelevant for the Top 10):

Super Mario War (PC) 30 minutes (written by Florian Hufsky who worked at the place where I work, the Bundesrechenzentrum, for one week before (as is told in some circles) killing himself about two weeks ago. He was the founder of Austria's Pirate Party, so his death caused quite a stir on the Internet)
Blosics (Online game) 23 minutes
Pac-Man (Uzebox) 9 minutes (quite beautifully rendered homebrew version for the "geek" video game system - about as accurate as Pacman 4K for the 2600)
Basketball (Online game) 3 minutes

Since we're in week #52, I'm letting this last period run through the end of tomorrow. We still have 2 or 3 games that might reach the 1,000 minute club before the end of the year. Get those last games played for 2009!

We had a shortened week for Week #1 last year. I've been trying to keep the calendar years together while keeping the cutoff on Sunday night.

Agreed. I think Intellivision will do much better in 2010. It was actually the #11 system for 2009 but it didn't have half as many minutes as #10. In fact, it didn't quite make it to 1,000 minutes for all games combined.

Here are its top games...

1. AD&D Cloudy Mountain (#94 overall)
2. Burgertime (#129)
3. Shark! Shark! (#284)
4. Thunder Castle (#322)
5. Safecracker (#370)
6. Happy Trails (#436)
7. Golf (#440)
8. Bump N Jump (#534)
9. Tower of Doom (#570)
10. Demon Attack, Beauty and the Beast, Utopia (#612)

No problem. Those are all good games. One thing I've noticed about the Top Ten is that multi-player games don't do as well. I played a bunch of Intellivision sports games and Swords and Serpents as a kid but the sports games are dated (although still good) and there's no one around who wants to play the other games. Actually my 10 year old likes to play older games with me but she's not interested in Swords and Serpents.
