A little more obscure this week, but one of the better shooters for the NES! Let's play Gun-Nac!

Ooh, nice choice! I'll get on that over the weekend.

By the way, Gun*Nac is itself a spinoff of the Zanac series. It's almost a parody, in the same way that Paradious was a humorous version of Gradius.

Wow, this game's got a crazy difficulty level. It jumps from stupidly easy to viciously hard after the third level. I blame the enemies that explode into a dozen pieces, which all head straight for your ship. How are you supposed to survive that barrage?

Anyway, the high score. I think I reached the final boss, but I can't say for sure.
