I am really excited about this years show. I think that we will have amazing products and will be one of our better ones. We will be the most organized as we ever have been. That, and this year, I wont be in shock :)

So the shock therapy worked? Or did you finally ground the power supply of your SNES? :D

Hi all-

I just posted a link on the Portland Retro Gaming Expo site to group rates at the Crowne Plaza (the hotel where the event is to be held). You can also now purchase tickets to the event on the site. Pre-sold ticket holders get into the show 1 hour before those who buy their tickets at the door this year! (9:00 AM instead of 10:00 AM).

Hope to see everyone there!

Things are progressing nicely for the show. Just a heads up for anyone else interested in coming, we will have a great and wide selecton of games from Atari to Xbox. We have will have a more organized staff this year, and it would be a great idea for anyone who was thinking of going to a game convention on the West Coast.

Show moving along nicely. We are going to have a full lineup of vendors, and are much more organized this year! Our flyers have been starting to be handed out, and would encourage anyone looking for a retro videogame show to consider ours. Hopefully we can get a couple of folks from this forum to make the trip.

looks like we'll have many releases at our show this year, some for the 2600 and some for the NES. :)

Less than 80 days left! You can preregister through our website if you are still interested in coming. We have several surprises this year! This is the one not to miss!

Oh wow, just saw this. Hopefully I can make it to Portland this year. It all depends on a lot of factors, though.

How big is the turnout going to be this year? The NWCGE 2007 event was fun to attend and I feel bad about missing '08.

I saw Leeni perform last year at the Child's Play charity event here in Seattle. That was pretty awesome.

Here's to a great NWCGE(Event) '09 in case I don't make it. Cheers, gentlemen. :)

---
BTW, the Saturn Bomberman Tourney sound like mad fun.

our biggest turnout for past events was 250 people, with all the months we all have put into this show, we're expecting a much better turnout, even if this is just a one day show unlike past events where they were for 2 days.

hope to see you there! :)

Rick
