Sorry if this was posted before!!!

I wonder if you would be able to hack the JAKKS Atari 10 in 1 game and remove games you don't want and add your own roms (games)

Found the answer in a dead thread:

1. So, how long until someone figures out how to replace those roms with their own games :D


Not likely... the chips are epoxy glue-blob's on the PCB (ala later Atari 2600 games....) so no one will be chipping away at those to SMD solder replacement chips onto the boards

You'd have to replace them with NES games or other Jakks knock-offs anyway. That's a NES clone under the hood, not an Atari 2600.

Edit: I am rather amused that the Jakks web page is done in Flash, which means all that text is really a picture, and they still screwed up the character set. Note how all the reviewers seem to be questioning themselves.

Can a Jakks 2600 stick be hacked to play NES games? Maybe the board inside could be replaced and just use it as a shell?
