Where did that come from? Is it real footage or artist impression? ;)

Credits go to John Hardie for donating the screenshot.

Let's hope the ROM will be donated to the community some day.

well logically speaking, if there exists a screen shot then there must be a game behind it (unless its a gfx mock up)

only an amount of time before the rom shows up somewhere

Any idea on the name yet

And once again CPUWIZ beats someone to the punch.

Anyway, ditto.

Some pretty good programming there, especially the brick row with the name inside.

Thought this was solved already.

I'll report this to the designer.

Anymore info you can share on this one Rom? Looks very impressive even by supercharger standards.
Thanks for showing us. Looking forward to hearing more!
Best,
Chris

Unfortunately, the only thing I know that John Hardie found the only known proto and that it was shown at the CGE2K4.

I've never seen any ad of it.

Hi rom,

cheers for the vid, I assume that shows the attract mode. Any idea what the actual gameplay involves & in fact whether this is playable?
Pretty excited about this, a new Supercharger game doesn't come along everyday after all.
Best regards,
Chris

It appears that this is nothing more than a movement demo (notice that the character is able to freely move everywhere) with a pretty background. I wonder if there's more code in there that's just not active yet? Obviously this isn't a sellable game or anything, so why not release it?

Scott is going to ask permission from Bob Brown to release it.

Correction:

Scott Stilphen:
I'm actually the one who found this, on one of Bob Brown's personal tapes. Bob gave the tape to John Hardie, who gave it to me. I found it on his tape and converted it to a rom file. I'm also the one who brought it to CGE and showed it at Digital Press' booth, along with Wings and an alternate version of Sweat.

The Video Decathlon version mentioned at the bottom of this page (http://www.digitpres...ggs/26sweat.htm)? If so, can someone point me to it?
