Looks like this place is pretty dead.

*Slaps you (yes you, the person reading this) with a glove. *

Space Harriers at dawn. Who's up for it?

We'll run it for a month starting Monday. Any takers?

That would be fine with me. Seems a shame no one else has made a reply. Then again I just noticed that the SMS HSC had finally had a new post. Perhaps a post about it in Classic Gaming General to garner some more interest would work.

I think I'll up the date on this a bit and make a post in the main forum (as Darthkur suggested) when I get the chance. I've been on the road for work for a week, so this is only the second or third time I've even had a chance to check Atariage.

Heh... I just now found your post here. :)

I actually inquired a while back about reviving the SMS HSC... doing an interest poll... getting mod rights and the whole 9-yards, but never heard back about it.

I'm really curious how many people are actually interested in playing. I think running an HSC would be fun, but not if only a couple people are playing.

I would if I had more games. Actually, games are very cheap even CIB around here, so I'm probably more concerned with running out of shelf space. Another reason I stayed away is that I don't have an SMS. I think that's a necessary item for this, isn't it? The Game Gear screen is pretty tiny, although I might load up some games via the Master Gear.

This post is long dead, but I figured I'd throw together a score just for grins anyway (I was doing the OutRun and Alex Kidd ones, so I had my emu booted up already). My score was 4,298,350. I got my game over on stage four.
