Just a quick one, if you get to the faster waves think 9+ there is a little bug on the bonus screens (the ones with the dots) be carreful not to nibble a dot right next to your body by moving up or down as the speed gets so fast that you end up nibbling yourself and the dot disapears but doesn't register and you can't complete the level or it locks up, bad times. Hope this makes some sort of sense :D

Have fun folks!

Really fun game. You sure do run out of room fast. It's pretty easy to end up going in a direction that you don't want to, especially when things speed up.

EDIT 2: New HIGH SCORE, 59,140

EDIT: New HIGH SCORE, 51,190, it gets crazy fast and i think it does get faster at level 9 butthis games actually really fun

I got 22,740 before the emulator suddenly crashed on me, WTF :x , and a still had another life, also wth is up with wave 6, instead of being a slight ramp-up of speed, to give you time to adjust, it tosses you into level 6 and has you zippin all over the place.... i will admit it did give me a psuedo-adrenaline rush from the sudden burst of speed. The only other classic game to do that is centipede, when all the stuff comes flying down the screen, i panic everytime :P

Wow - I never played this game before. Pretty cool. I agree - once level 6 arrives - WATCH OUT! :-o I can't imagine (but hopefully will see) levels 9+ if it gets any faster!

EDIT: it just crashed again, what the hell's going on, only this time i could only get 7000, what emulator would you guys recommend? this ones pretty unstable.
I'm using the Atari800winplus3.1
For this game i have the machine type set to XL/XE
I don't know if that will help you out or not.

106,410. I got to rack 15. Yes, it keeps getting faster after level 9 (at least I think it does.) My tip is if you manage to get your snake to stop, take a second to examine the board for the safest way around.

Lots of fun! Good choice! :)

I'm glad that worked out for you. If i can't get a game to play correct or load up on machine type OS-B i try machine type XL/XE.

I can confirm that one. It does indeed get faster after round 9. A lot faster. I got to either round 13 or 14. I can't imagine that the gameplay can get much quicker than at those levels and still be playable. Unless you're a Jedi or something. :P

It's easier to play on emulator than on real Atari.
