After reading this particular forum, it's opened my eyes a bit about collecting the REAL thing (real, vintage arcade machines, NOT mame stuff).

I built a pretty nice little mame machine recently. I'm quite proud of it and show it off often. However, reading the posts you guys have done in this forum has me thinking about how cool it'd be to start collecting the real machines! Seems like a much more fundamental experience than the "sorta" artificial one provided with a mame cab.

Who here has had experience with good mame machines vs. collecting the real Coin-Op Arcade Machines?
