The new point distribution for high scores -starting with Season 3- is as follows:

1st place=10 points

2nd place=8 points

3rd place=6 points

4th place=4 points

5th place=2 points

6th place and on=1 point

If a tie should occur then the aloted amount of points will be given to each player for the position that they are
tied in. Example: If three people should tie for 1st place then each will recieve 10 points, 2nd place will recieve
4 points, 3rd will get 2 points...

And there will be an "Ironman"-bonus at the end of the season.
Just play all rounds of a season and you will get 2 bonus-points!

I think this is a better scoring-system for our "little" HSC. The average number of players this season was 7,48 (round 1 - 21).
The old system was just a copy from the more popular Atari 2600 HSC with "10 +" players per round.

Feel free to comment the new scorings-system and the Colecovision HSC in general!

I like the new scoring system. It gives more of an incentive to finish higher in the rankings.

I'd suggest an "Ironman" bonus of 5 or maybe even 10 points. A season is really long and if a player plays every game a 5 or 10 point reward might be enough to jump ahead in the standings. While 2 points probably wouldn't make a difference.
Anyways, it's just a suggestion.
