I am having some bad financial problems now and I am forced to get rid of most of my Jaguar collection. I put about 35 of my games out on Saturday and will be putting most of the rest out this coming Friday. Here are my current auctions

http://cgi6.ebay.com...sort=3&since=-1

One item to note here is that unlike many people who sell on eBay I ship anywhere in the World as long as you pay the shipping. Also, the 2 dollar shipping charge is the game in a brown envelope - since most of the stuff is in real good condition (since it is my personal collection) I suggest Priority Mail because that way you get the Priority Mail Box which is the best protection for Games that have boxes. The absolute best way is to win multiple auctions since I will combine shipping. Also, I am not trying to gouge on shipping and handling here, Shipping prices are actual prices - I am not about to try to make money off of Shipping.

Anyway, I hope some of you guys can take advantage of this stuff, I got alot more going this Friday but I will post an update on this thread when I put the rest out.

This is one of the saddest times in my life - having to get rid of my prized Jag collection - but I figure if and when times get better I can rebuild it.

I'll be bidding on some of your items though :)

My loss is everyones gain :) Save some money for next week though, that is when the really neat stuff goes up. Here is a preview

Battlesphere (the original)
Jamma Joystick (the original from the Goat Store)
3 Pro Controllers
Jaguar CD system
Memory Track
Protector
Skyhammer
Hyper Force
Primal Rage
Worms

and the list goes on and on....

Pretty much the only thing I am keeping is one Jaguar system, one Pro-Controller and my Battlesphere Gold.

Pretty much sucks but as I said - if things turn around I can rebuild it.

I'm laying down a few bids too, but I'm not going too high because I have the games already and am just trying to recover lost boxes. So if anyone wants a game I'm bidding on, but don't care about boxes, once I win I'll immediately put my other carts&manuals&overlays up for sale here at Atari Age and for only a couple bucks each! Most are commons I bid on...just need the boxes. :|

Gunstar,

Let me know some of the boxes you need and I will see what I can do. Believe it or not you can get pretty much the same for just cartridges and instructions when you sell them - having the box does not really make that much difference and makes it more expensive to ship.

Also, if you win that Cannon Fodder auction I will include a Strategy Guide I got with it - it is for the Amiga but it is a pretty cool little collectible item.

JagHammer - make me an offer on a Pro Controller - I might sell you one off of eBay as I do not really want to put all three out at the same time.

Also - do you guys think 35$ is good for Primal Rage? I think it is a rarer title but I have been offered that straight up for it.

In my eBayings, I almost always see PR sell for more than that. It's always a gamble, but I think you could get closer to the $50 range. Only an opinion, tho.

I, too, wish to add my condolences to your Jag system. That type of thing shouldn't have to happen to anyone. :_(

OK Helper, I'll send you a list of boxes I'm missing. The Cannon fodder guide sounds cool too...I have one I printed out off the net for the 3DO version (I have the Jag version, but they are identical), but a commercial quality one would be cool.

Gunstar, the guide is not like a strategy book rather it is more like a strategy pamphlet. It is about 4x3'' and has maybe 20 pages at the most. I am posting from home right now and do not have it in front of me but when I get to my office I will post some more details about it. It is more like one of the old Atari 2600 catalogs (a little smaller) than it is like a commercial quality guide book - but it is in excellent condition.

Here is more info on that Cannon Fodder guide Gunstar - the title of the guide is

Busted! Cannon Fodder the Definitive Players Guide

It is from Amiga Action and it is written by Dave Goodyear and was designed by Sue Ashton. It is 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. It has 40 pages.

Gunstar,

Here are the boxes I can do for you

Doom
Memory Track
Jagcd unit box&jaguar base unit box
highlander
Hoverstrike:UL

I have the Primal Rage and AvP boxes but they are still in Plastic so I am going to keep that package together.

I doubt you will make it on any of the auctions with that low of a bid but not to worry as we can do a side deal for this stuff - and also the Cannon Fodder guide if you are interested. Those big boxes might make it funky to ship - Personal Message me your address so I can figure out how much Shipping can be. Also, the Jag CD unit box and Jaguar Unit Box are at my storage so I have to find them - give me a couple of days to pull all this stuff together.

For anyone else interested I can do boxes for

Kasumi Ninja
Zool 2
Checkered Flag

and I have instructions for

White Men Can't Jump
Zoop
Attack of the Mutant Penguins
Dragon the Bruce Lee Story
Flip Out
Cybermorph

Thanks! I'll probably rebid on some of those auctions once I'm outbid, since I can sell my games without boxes to help make up some of the cost...but I intend to keep the prices low for people here at AtariAge as that's where I'll offer them first.

Which also reminds me, I already have an extra copy of MYST Jagcd if anyone is interested; I bought a new copy for the outer box. It comes complete except for the outer box (disc, cd case, instructions) and is in very good condition. Make me an offer, sale or trade +shipping (method of your choice, anywhere in the world).

Well - the first round went well I guess - I grossed around 550$ US for the 35 games I put out. Buyers got some good deals and so did I

Some highlights

Space War 2000 - it went for 90 bucks - I shipped it for free since it went so high. The guy was happy to get it as he said the last one he saw went for 100 euros - whatever that is.

Defender 2000 - 50$ - bad ass game in great condition - i did not pay that much for it but it obviously is a coveted item.

NBA Jam - I was surprised when this went for 35 bucks.

Super Burnout - went for 20 bucks - got it for like 8 including shipping - good deal for me

Highlights for buyers

Attack of the Mutant Penguins went for 11.50$ - what a freaking deal - I paid 70 bucks for the game

Double Dragon - not worth it but I paid 70 bucks for it - went for around 10 or less

One guy got 4 excellent condition games for like 20 bucks - slapdash got a good deal.

eBay and PayPal got alot of fees but I made a little money.

I have the 2nd round up at

http://cgi6.ebay.com...sort=3&since=-1

the highlight here is my MIB Sensible Soccer - I hate getting rid of this one

The good news is my financial situation has improved so I holding back some stuff - get the deals while you can guys because it looks like I might be able to hold on to the rest of my collection :) Good news for me - bad news for you :(cb

FYI, I will be auctioning Battlesphere Original and a Pro Controller next week in case anyone is looking for them - I probably will not do any side deals for these games but you can email and offer if you want.

Gunstar - your Iron Soldier Cartridge includes the overlay :)

Thanks for posting all your auction information, shows how hard it is to be a seller with all those fees and you not always even getting what you paid for your items.

I just got Attack of the Mutant Penguins last month for like $11 also, I thought it would go for a lot more, I guess people have forgotten about this pretty good/rare game? You did make a killing on NBA Jam and Super Burnout :) But at least they are good games and the buyers can enjoy that part of it.

I'm also interested in getting a Pro Controller, so if you don't put those up and your interested in selling talk to Jag first but me second :D

Did Worms and the Jamma controller go? Are they going? I'd be interested.

On the "boxes only" front I have the box, instructions etc. for Baldies available, everything but the CD. Actually the CD as well but it's defective. Anyone want it?
