Sorry folks, I totally forgot to post this. It has been extremely hectic around here. Hopefully by next contest it will be "back to normal."

Anyway... since this is a few days late... the poll will end at noonish EDT on Sunday, April 26th. The new competition will start the same day. Thanks for your continued dedication and patience.

Gyruss (Parker Brothers-USA-1984)

I voted Gyruss as it might be rather interesting with our play group (from what little I know of the group in my limited time here). WizWar is always awesome but I'm going to commit heresy here and admit - I can't stand River Raid. I'm fine with anything but that one as I'll probably get 93485738957th place.

Watch it win the poll now :D

Some of us have just played Wizard Of Wor in the 5200 high score club. Hopefully a different game wins.

It's a fantastic game, almost two games in one, part shooter, part platformer... each part is better than many other games in it's own right... remember folks to suggest your favourites to play too as a lot of these are from my list; even Sea Bandit, oopz, Bandit, Fox, Dragon you get the idea :D

I can't get Sea Bandit to load. I'm using Atari800Win PLus 3.1. I see in the instruction that there's a special procedure on the actual machine to load the cassette. The file I dl'ed from the link above is the cassette version. I tried to do those things that are described but nothing happens.

I also couldn't get the Sea Bandit file i downloaded from Atarimania to load, but the Sea Bandit file i downloaded from
atari.fandal.cz loads up great. The file type is xex.

Thanks. I dl'ed that version and got it running fine. Weird game. I'll have to read more of the instructions so I know what I'm supposed to be doing. :P
