I would love to sell this, and just get cash for it, since it's been a while 100!! plus shipping and it's yours. But I'm open to any and all trade offers, in particular a nice intellivision set, feel free to shoot me any offer though, I'm flexible! The package will include an original NES power adapter, and two controllers painted in the same scheme as the NES.

So, here's a list of what I did internally:

New 72 pin cart slot of course

I did a stereo mod for the system, I installed left and right speaker jacks, and two knobs on the top of the system that control the mixing.

I made the LED green, and the triforce is backed by plexiglass, and lit by 3 yellow LEDs.

I also disabled the lockout chip, Color Dreams fans rejoice!

Anyway, I'll let the pictures speak from here on out. A quick note, there's these "bubbles" at the top. They are vaguely noticable in the pictures, but you can see them in person, I actually like the textured feel, so didn't get rid of them, but they don't stare you down so to speak, you can really only see them up close. I re-glued all of the original stickers back on, for that extra touch. And finally, the expansion cover got misplaced, but I found it and painted it with the last of my gold, so it looks pretty shitty. I would just leave it off, it looks way better, but you can't see the bottom anyway when in use, so no difference. Without further ado.......

That's extremely nice, if I had a disposable income this would be all mine! Maybe you should get a clue and not let other people price your work.

I'll have to wait until tonight to light it up, to really exagerate the brightness and make it apparent. I wish I had clue, but I mentioned that I would consider any and all offers, so feel free to shoot me any trades ideas, or cash money offers.

Very nice... makes me want to build a NES/SNES/N64 unit that plays everything classic cart-wise with a zelda gold theme...

It looks really nice with the exception of the "mixing knobs". They were the first thing that jumped out at me. It would have been nice if you could have hidden them somewhere.

During testing, I found myself always changing the mixing. In Battletoads, I always made the bassline more apparent, and in Zelda, the lead is simply amazing, and so I always make that stand out more. I didn't want to always reach around and mess around without looking, so I mounted them up front. I thought the chrome looked nice with the gold.

I've seen one like this sell for $120+ in other places, so hold out for the good offers.

I would be happy with not too much. I'm not looking to make bank, I just want what I payed back, or some stuff I don't have. I don't want people to be scared and think I'm looking for the moon, I really will consider any offers given.

Please define nice Intellivision set? Are you looking for complete boxed console and games? Loose console and games? I have a couple few Intellys in storage, I could dig them out and see what they look like and what extra carts I may have.

To make it slightly less weird, how long did it take you to do this? And what are the odds of you making another? ;) I'm sure there are several others who wouldn't mind paying for a system as sexy as that.

I have only had a few offers, none of whom are responding to me anymore. In fact, the overall interest seems rather low, despite much praise. It's very offputting. I think what took the longest was sanding, I had to sand off the texture of the NES case, then I had to sand it again with a higher grit, then once more with 400 grit.

Will you accept a trade for my NES & accessories with £20 ($30.43400) for that console?

Why would I want to trade down like that? That would just put me back to square one, whats the point?

The point is he gets a cool system! :P
And you get to do it again!
Look at it this way, it could come out better the second time?
Think positive! :D
