I remember seeing a preview of Klax on the Gameboy featured in Computer and Video Games magazine and it was in a 2D format. I don't have a scan of the preview on me at the moment (the disc with it on is buried) so I can't show it.
However, I brought a copy of Klax on the Gameboy on eBay a few weeks ago and it was a 3D enviroment.
Does anyone know if the 2D version was released?
(The copy I have was released by Mindscape)

I don't know anything about that, but I have heard something about GBC Klax: It was a long time ago I heard it, but it was either Craig Harris of IGN or one of the developers, but supposedly the EU release of Klax for Gameboy Color has a version of Atari's Adventure hidden it it somewhere.

The 2D b/w GB Klax is the Japanese version. The MD/Genesis also got a different port of Klax for JP than for the US.
