I just got this thing from a Thrift Shop in Brentwood for $6 and I have no clue how much it's worth. Not even Ultimate console database has it. Here's a pic.

So how much is it worth.

Edit: Never mind it's $15. I only payed $6 so I'm pretty satisfied.

I have no idea, that is all I found, but I did not search too hard. You may want to ask this guy.

Does anybody know if there's anything special I need to hook it up? It gives me a messed up image like it's stuck in between channels. Almost like it's scrambled. Do I need an old TV for this thing?

May need tuned in, (which would need an old TV) or it may need a different channel, two three or four useually, but if it's from another country, I've seen them look scrambled untill you gotto like channel 13 or something (my dyna system does that)

Or the system could be bad, it's possible, but that's a pretty sweet looking thing, one of those WTF things for sure.

You really confuse me now, I thought those "pre-defined" channels on TVs are what is old-fashioned/obsolete, not the tuning?

At STICH666, I'm curious, could you post a picture with the paddle controllers out, I'd like to know what they look like.

Also here's what it looks like on a TV.

This while squiggly line should be straight.

My camera is shit for taking a pic of a TV. but here's the best pic I could get. And yes that image bleeding is what it does.

Also those 2 square blobs on the top of the screen should be the score.

Huh? That almost looks like it's sending out to strong of a signal or something. Maybe you could try adjusting the brightness or something? (I know my TV goes fugly if there's to much red in the picture)Also, are you useing the correct power supply? I suppose if it was to big, it could cause problems (other than frying the system)

And as for Tuneing, I mean, an old TV would literally have a tuner knob, where you could "fine tune" the channels in, I know on old 2600 games, the ones that would act jumpy on a US TV, you could useually get them to stay still if you had one of the TV's with a Pot Tuner built in, sadly, those gave away in the 70's, so their pretty hard to find now...though if you have a really old cable box, those would do the same things (I never got the tuner box, did they make TV's without tuners built in at some time?)

I'm using a 2600 power supply. 9V 800mA. I'll try with the 6 C batteries it takes.

K I just tried with the C batteries and it stopped the waviness but there's still a really bad image bleeding problem.

Hmm...well, some old systems did just have bad bleeding. Some of the computers would have people use that as a "feature" to push more colors than the system was actually capable of, could be the same issue here I suppose, but without a C.I.C. expert on hand, (or a second system) we may never know

Thanks for you help though. I guess this will just stay as a display piece until I find how to fix it.

never heard of it. is it a pong console? i have a french one called the "philips n20 videojeu" and it looks like this:
//www.old-computers.com/museum/computer.asp?st=3&c=715
it basically looks stylish, but still looks like a normal pong console.
but what YOU have looks (in my opinion) nothing like an ordinary pong console. it looks almost like an old computer. doesn't look that stylish ether. it guessing it could be a prototype that was never released, but i have no idea. just trying to help :)

Not everything's a prototype. ;) There's 100s of different Pong units, from all around the world.
