Luckilly, it was only like $16 or so, but way back in April, I ordered Golf for the Virtual Boy. It still hasn't come, and naturally I can't tell them about it because their stupid site has been "renovating" for over a month now. I think they just went out of business and forgot to tell everyone. What do you think? How can I get in touch with someone who works there?

I really doubt they stole your money, at least not on purpose. I've bought things from them before without issue. That being said, horray for public domain registration information:

I just today got a reply from Mr. Gary Heil, saying that he did indeed not ship the game to me. He apologized and gave me a full refund and asked if I still wanted the game. I wrote back and said yes, so apparently I'm getting a free game out of the deal. I guess they're still being kind, albeit a few months later. I just hope they won't be updating their site like this ever again...

If all is resolved and it was a simple misunderstanding, perhaps the OP could edit the title of this thread?

I can't, there's no Edit feature showing up on the first post. Anyway, I just got another e-mail saying they mailed my game today and I should have it in a few days.

I am surprised you had any difficulties. I have bought from them a couple of times in the past and received good service.

I will be happy to change the title for you. Please let me know when you have your game. I am very glad this is being worked out and has resulted in something positive. :)

Hey all, I was forwarded a link to this a couple hours ago by someone. First off, huge apology to atari2600land, as this was definitely not his fault. What basically happened is that he had the unfortunate luck of ordering with us as we shut down the site to overhaul it, which meant that we never saw the order on our end, and then as we went about upgrading the site, didn't have the ability for people to contact us working yet, so he got caught in a limbo which I'm greatly sorry about. That was, hopefully obviously, not our intention to do when we went to upgrade our site :)

So anyway, once again I'm greatly sorry about the mix-up, and don't worry -- we don't generally do upgrades like this to our site -- the last time was I think 2002 or 2003 that we did, so it is safe for ordering again. In the near future, we're going to start having a lot more, new user features appearing too. If anyone ever wants to get ahold of me, you can always PM me here!

Once again, greatly sorry atari2600land, this won't happen again!

I'm another who can vouch for them, as I've ordered from them in a past and received excellent service. Glad to see this issue is getting resolved.

Another problem with the Goat Store: I got a game case from them. That's right, there was no game disc inside. Maybe I should just stop shopping here altogether. Tried writing a ticket on Monday and got no response, so I just wrote to Mr. Heil directly.
