Hi everyone,

I thought I'd mention stumbling across a couple of cartridges this past weekend while in Lawrence, KS. The store is called "Game Nutt Entertainment" and it's on 824 Massachusetts St. I believe both cartridges were for the Intellivision system and were either lab loaners or prototypes made by Activision. I was searching for Atari games and they had these placed in the same boxes.

I can't remember the exact titles for the Intellivision carts (since the store employee was aware of what they were and wasn't interested in selling them to me) but I think they were Pitfall and River Raid. Thought I should share this info in case anyone is interested in trying to buy or preserve these carts.

I'm curious as to why you didn't buy them.

They didn't have the protos / lab loaners on display or anything: I had to go upstairs where a bunch of gamers were sitting around big-screen TVs playing something not 8-bit. The boxes of Atari stuff was being stored in an employees-only section of the store and they brought them out for me. They just forgot to pull the rare carts out of the boxes before showing them to me.

There's another store in Lawrence called "Game Guy", and the owner bragged about having a lot of Atari stuff (not sure if any of it would've been protos), but he just hadn't sorted through it yet and I didn't get to see any of it.
