GroovyBee has written a nice utility for reading / writing the EEPROM (through the USB interface).

Use -

savekey --help

from the DOS command prompt for the list of functions

If you have any problems writing data to the SaveKey add "--poll" to the command line.

It seems to take an awfully long time to read 8K, is there any way that time could be reduced?

Nope! Thats down to the driver for the USB chip that Richard used in the AtariVox USB interface. It might run faster on a laptop.

Thats too bad (I was using a laptop too!) :(

Could you add an option that omits the header?

I'll add it to my list of things to do.
