I'm thinking about getting a Atari Lynx soon, and was wondering,
what games do you think I should buy?



Also which model Lynx should I get?
Model 1 or model 2?

Get a model 2.

And my tips for great games are Rygar, Blue Lightning and Ninja Gaiden 3 if you have a nerve for incredibly difficult games.

Lynx I (skateboard) or Lynx II (small cat) depends on how you're going to be playing it. If you're gaming primarily on the go, get a small cat. If you're going to be playing mainly at home, get a skateboard. Either way, get yourself some strong NiMH batteries (at least 2500 mAh) and a good charger. I also recommend getting a unit with the power brick.

As for games, here are a few of my favorites:

Model 2 Use the headphones for stereo sound

Lynx 1 has a VERY load speaker though! LOL

I reccomend collecting all of the games!

Grab things like Rampage, Chips Challenge, Gates of Zendocon, and throw in something like Roadblasters.
Lots of fun with those! I have lynx games for sale btw...

Checkered Flag (quite the contrary to the crap game of the same title on the Jaguar)
Lemmings (browse atari-shop.nl from time to time to find a reasonably priced copy)
Slime World
Battlewheels (cheap at konsolenkost.de, but worldwide shipping is EUR 19.99 from there)

As for games, Blue Lightning, Hard Drivin & Checkered Flag are top of the list. Among other games...

I recommend the LynxII if you will be using headphones (stereo sound) and the fact that you can pause the game and turn off the screen (no games have a save feature, some have passwords).

California Games (no lynx is complete without this game, a MUST have)
