I hate this game on any platform.

9150 just for the participation point.

nothing feels better than shooting down a crater UFO while jumping over the crater it made.

Yup, looks like your name and Atardi's was swapped accidently.

It's still wrong. Atardi's score should be 54,300 (although this goof doesn't affect the standings at all.)

Does this game play faster on Stella 2.84? Seems to. Some of the jumps that I can make on the real hardware, I end up crashing on the emu. Not sure if it's because I am using a keyboard and not a stick and my timing is off but the buggy just seems to fly. And the craters kinda glitch out.
Moon Patrol runs at a constant 262 scanlines/60 frames per second, so that's not the issue. I suspect it's the keyboard, as you say. What do you mean by 'glitch out'? If you're referring to the yellow lines on the right side of the screen, this has been fixed in the alpha release of Stella. I suggest you try the latest alpha version, located in the Emulation forum.

Yes, as you can see in a few of the screen shots, the artifacts on the extreme right of the screen.

Also, the craters also seem to "jump"

I'll see if I can attach a movie that shows it when my camera battery recharges.

OK here's a screen shot.

This happens when I slow down with a crater behind me.

And the UFO's and shuttle seem to "jump" when on the left instead of flying smoothly

I've always known about the garbage on the right, but you're correct that the craters and enemies on the left are 'jumping'. I guess I was concentrating on the right so much that I never noticed the left side of the screen :) Anyway, I'm glad to say that all these issues are fixed in the latest alpha for Stella 3.0. I hope to do the final release sometime towards late September.

Fantastic.

As a software tester by trade, I like when my bugs are fixed.
