I was in dire straits a couple of months back and actually (with embarrassment) asked for my money back but thankfully I've weathered the financial storm and can once again await this lovely project with eagerness again. Good luck Golden Ax.

You have nothing to feel embarrassed about, because even with the understanding of the mechanics of homebrew efforts and life's related hurdles, it's perfectly reasonable that when someone takes money for something that there should be a reasonable expectation of delivery in a reasonably timely manner. Frankly, I asked for my money back as well, not because I particularly needed it (though extra funds are always helpful), but because I've gotten tired of investing in homebrew efforts like this that take years longer than promised to come to fruition. Needless to say, it's situations like this that make me increasingly wary of supporting future efforts without somewhat definitive delivery dates or homebrew creators who I've dealt with successfully in the past. Though it was a relatively modest sum I gave as a deposit, it is effectively held hostage at this point and there's nothing I can do about it.

Well, unexpected delays, seem standard issue on well-meaning, aspiring iprojects, such as these. It's a hobby, not ones life-blood. If it becomes just work, without any enjoyment, then ones priorities are askew. Those of us who have long been into the hobby, realize this. (It only hurts the first couple of times..I kid, I kid. Though, I've actually waited longer on commercial projects that have had major corporate underwriting behind their efforts.

Wow, people talking in this thread. Not sure why but for some reason I don't get updates or notices under "my content" even though I'm following this thread (obviously!). If people start talking in here and I don't respond promptly, someone let me know good things are happening with this. Thanks for keeping the faith.
