89,490. Level 33.

Your turn, MaPa. :) I don't know what happens after level 36, but I have a feeling we're going to find out before the end of the week. ;)

114,285. Level 39. Once you beat level 36, it goes back to the first board with no fly paper (which is level 25.) There is an intermission after level 36 (not 35.)

I think I'm done. I don't think I have anymore in me. :)

Wow :!: Seriously impressive scores, great battle guys, (esp if deteacher is playing on NTSC). Can't see myself getting much further, maybe shannon or atardi can make a late challenge :?:

With many questions still to be answered before close of play on Friday night: did atariksi get one of the ATR's to work ok, did mimo fix his TV, where are poobah and doctorclu, have deteacher and mapa gone into retro gaming re-hab :?: ;)

Don't forget to vote for the next game folks

Table so far:

#1 deteacher 114,285 (39) 12pts
2. mapa 100,340 (35) 11pts
3. therealbountybob 41,800 (21) 10pts
4. shannon 34,700 9pts
5. atardi 22,480 8pts
6. gwobby 20,735 7pts
7. devwebcl 16,670 6pts
8. dodgers 14,795 5pts
9. goochman 8,030 4pts
10.mimo 6,260 3pts
------------------------- 1 point below this line ;)
11.spookt 6,115
12.roadrunner 3,935
13.bluecat 5,875
14.mopchop 2,725

Any corrections please post.

mimo's TV is dead, as is his digital camera, an 8meg SD card and my Wii. Oh, and some Ba$7@rd has run into my car damaging the front wing(fender)

That's a week I want to forget!!
At least I have located a 1084S monitor, just need to get it collected by the courier.
Anyone want to buy a load of Wii accessories:x

LOL! I haven't gone into rehab, but my wife had to go upstairs to watch tv yesterday while I was playing because she kept getting distracted from her show. She couldn't take the movement and sounds any longer. LOL LOL LOL

Yes, I'm playing NTSC. Again, the trick is to:
1. Have a route planned out...don't just move randomly.
2. Keep the baddies right behind you as much as possible (within a square or 2.)
3. Don't allow them to get too far behind, or else they'll try to cut you off.

Once you get the hang of keeping them right behind you, you can run around all day and not get caught.

Sorry to hear that mimo I tend to have a bit of bad luck stretches from time to time as well. Anyways I just checked and the game is a "bit more manageable" at PAL speeds, compared to NTSC. Either that or I'm just more used to being able to dodge on the fly now.

I only see ATX version of this game floating around. Any ATR version or executable as my PC interface to Atari doesn't do ATX stuff. I can deal with ATRs as they are just sector dumps after you remove the header.

The .rom won't work? Let me see if I can find the .atr version. If I can, I will PM it to you.

It's on Homesoft disk 264 which is an ATR if that helps?

On what system does this Homesoft disk 264 work on and does it require any specialized hardware? Otherwise, I need to try some other ATR-- perhaps the one that Mimo posted.

Need to try the Mimo ATR file-- the other one Home disk 264 starts to boot and then just keeps resetting the system and rebooting again. Perhaps, it's looking for some specialized hardware.

Your almost at 17-bits. I just gave it my first couple of tries. Notice the level ends with a sound similar to Hero with dynamites left over but no score adds up.

Could do with some of that dynamite for that pesky zookeeper and his net; then there'd be more than 17 bits :D

I don't like the backwards Monkey screens hanging from the sky. The other screens are fine though. Just not used to using joysticks to make Monkeys jump in the sky using anti-gravity.
