One left, I've got the new price ready but I'll wait until Monday before I end the price reduction - so save some money and pre-order before Monday.

I have edited the menu tonight, new feature is that the same game stays active upon reset, you either have to shut the console off or hold 1 and reset to get back into the menu. This is something that has bothered me and kept me from making myself a Multi-Cart, I had considered having a DIP-switch system as well for my own cart - now I don't have to. ;-)

The customization previously offered is now $10 extra per item, such things as:
custom fast start options including custom back label
15 letter word displayed on startup
picture displayed upon startup
changes in colors of menu
order of items in menu
UPGRADE to newer software (owner pays shipping back and forth)

Reason for this is that these things take a lot of extra time, it's a lot easier to simply program a finished binary and solder up stuff in advance.

Current menu has fixed options (decided by popular choice from previous orders), started by pressing and holding a combination of buttons 1-4 and then reset according to this chart (all software can be reached through the menu):

4321 (buttons of console)
------------------------
0001 Menu
0010 Pac-Man
0011 Tetris
0100 Alien Invasion
0101 Galactic Space Wars / Lunar Lander
0110 Sonar Search
0111 Video Whizball
1000 Test Controls
1001 Pinball Challenge
1010 Dodge-It
1011 Casino Poker
1100 Space War
1101 Chess
1110 Lights Out
1111 Spitfire

The selection system could have been made more advanced to be able to reach all software using the buttons but I didn't want to make it too elaborate.

Price adjusted to $132, I got some free parts, luckily nobody was quick enough to pay $138. ;-)

Nice back label! ;-) I also think the changes are cool, especially the button combinations to select the most popular games. Seems like you've made an already awesome multicart even better!

This is the current version of the Work In Progress Multi-Cart box, if you have anything to say, say it now before I have 100 prints of it. ;-)

The guy on the back is Gerald A. Lawson, the designer of the Channel F who passed away last year.

Yes it was really sad! He died about a month after he was being honored by the International Game Developers Association. It was a shame, seems at the moment he was finally getting recognized, he passed away. Agreed, truly an innovator and an integral part of the hobby that we all love.

I'm glad that you dedicated Black History Month to Gerald A. Lawson. My thoughts exactly! To me he should be included amongst commonly recognized Black pioneers and he should be a part of Black History Month. So right on for paving the way for Jerry. :)

Got my first test print, looks OK, need to adjust some colors, size is also too large because the cardboard is a little thinner than the one for the Pac-Man cart.

Red is supposed to be more orange, yellow brighter, green more yellow and blue is pretty close, prints on back were a little dark. Need to clean up the yellow text as well.
I added color strips to the print so I'd be able to pick the right color, got close ones to all except the green. I'm having the #7 box sent in for a CMYK color analysis, at least I'll get it as close as possible.

Unfortunately I had an accident at home involving smashing the bottom out of a non-drunken (I wasn't intoxicated yet) bottle of beer, cut a chunk of skin off the index finger between the knuckles. Have gotten a transplant from the side of the elbow and all of the right hand is currently in a cast also tightly wound in different types of bandages. Just wanted to tell everyone not to expect any carts in the coming two months or so. Sorry about this.

I'll see if I can get some help soldering so I can speed things up here. I'm expecting to be able to get something going as soon as the cast comes off in two weeks.

I asked the wife to glue a test box together today, she missed by 5mm... and that's one of the reasons I prefer doing things myself... Perhaps it was planned, so I wouldn't ask her again. ;-)
Considered having 20 tests printed, just so she'd learn to do it properly. :-D
