Today (Sat 19th September) is Intenational Talk like a Pirate Day. Just got an email from Telltale games (of Sam n Max adventures fame); seems they're giving away episode one of the new 'Tales of Monkey Island' series, 'Launch of the Screaming Narwhal'.

Go get it - one day only folks.

You don't have to buy squat. Although there's an overarching storyline, each episode is a complete, self contained adventure in itself.

These guys are awesome I have the complete Strongbad series from them and they did a great job (or joerb ;) ) So I have no doubt this series will be well worth getting.

I just finished the game and I am impressed that they kept the feel of the original comedy and style of gameplay. My favorite part is the electric monkey :)
Although I'm not to sure why they make all the characters snap their fingers over and over, kind of got on my nerves after a while. But minor minor gripe.

Very enjoyable!
