Isn't one of the unspoken, long-term XM projects possibly a certain one-word-titled dungeon-crawler? (Surmized it...don't know if it is any longer being actively persued.)

Unless otherwise stated by me none of my announced games have been cancelled.

I thought someone was thinking of porting Wizardry to the 7800, after temporarily putting it aside for a port to the A8. Maybe I'm mistaken.:?

I thought your description of "one-word-titled dungeon-crawler" applied to my game Dungeon! Sorry, my mistake.

Just had a quick Google about Wizardry and I don't see a problem with somebody doing a 7800 version. You'd probably need a Savekey or a special cart with a writeable data area for saving your character's stats in.

As soon as I saw your post..I immediately thought, he probably thinks I'm talking about Dunjeon! I should learn one of these days one has to be more explicit on the interwebs. :)

Thats a shame. But I have an Nes for those games.. I like playing stuff on my 78 I can't play elsewhere... I wish I was farther along in my studies, but I'm not there yet. I'd like to port one of the old c64 questprobe Marvel text adventures... Spidey!

I loved those games, but wonder how much fun that would be without a keyboard? I found playing King's Quest on the Sega Master System to be really irritating.

definitely.. it would need on screen commands to choose from or joystick quick commands for navigating the hallways. Still could be funif implemented properly.
