ROTFLMAO! WTF?!? Too funny. Guess I'm getting old, but still trying to figure out why the heck that hot chick on the Venture Bros. sounds like a man. lol A lot of these shows are just plain "weird" today. Makes Ren and Stimpy/Beavis & Butthead, Family Guy and South Park seem quite "normal". lol
Haven't played a Lunar game since the TG-16 days, not really into RPG's anymore and after seeing this - definitely solidifies how I feel about most Japanese RPG's or anime for that matter. (still laughing)

I'm actually just about to start the segacd versions--once some punk ships me the genesis2 I need, or I order the proper video cable for my genesis1. whichever happens first.
correct me if I'm wrong (since I haven't started playing yet) but that was a bit of comic relief from the first of the games. so the thread's closer to 'this is what japanese rpg's had in them back in the early-90's'. the video certainly looks sega cd-ish enough.

I think they just keep reworking the same game and story multiple times. I cleared the GBA version, and have the Sega CD version ready and waiting to play.
To put that scene in context: female singers from across the land are being kidnapped. Kyle (the dark complected guy with a sword) winds up being the bait in an effort to flush the kidnappers out. Why they didn't use the female characters, I guess some comic relief really.
The graphics on that version shown look nice, but I don't need another copy of the same game.
Hex.
[ It's like Chrono Trigger for the Snes and PS1; do I NEED another copy? ]
