GameCube: Phantasy Star Online - alive and well

Fond memories came back tonight.

My family of four enjoyed playing Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II for the GameCube for years. We all have level 100+ characters and spent hundreds of hours offline and online each playing this game.

Tonight we pulled out the old memory card and pulled it up and did a lot of 4-player offline playing on our 52" LCD television. Sweet...especially in progressive scan mode.

I also play occassionally online still on the SCHTHACKservers. I see tonight that 495 people are logged in.

Sorry for all you folks that felt this game was nothing more than a hack quest....there's magic in it!

Awesome. I can't believe how much time I put into Ep 1&2 on the 'Cube after al the time I spend on the DC. In my top 5 games of all time - glad to see a bunch of people still playing!
