At first I thought it was Snake Pit with that top-down perspective. This looks like more fun though. Can't wait to give it a try!

I'm just waiting on more graphics and then I can release a little demo.

Hmmm... Good question! Everything I've tried so far hasn't been a problem for MARIA to handle in one form or another. I might have to scale things back but its still presentable :). MARIA is very flexible when you get down to it. The big problem I have is fitting all the graphics in the ROM .

Are you still sticking to 48K or willing to go up to 64K or 128K?

48K is the limit on this one. Anything above that and it gets harder to get the carts made.

There was once a project to create new 7800 boards on this forum. Not sure if it ever got completed though.

The last I heard he was pretty much out of boards. I don't think he had the funds at the time to do another run.

I didn't realize he actually completed the design. That's cool.

But yeah, hardware is pricey.

Is it a torrent of graphics or a trickle? :-)

Boo! Hiss!

Just kidding - 7800 homebrews make me happy regardless. But of all yours, I'm most interested in this and Apple Snaffle.

Progress hasn't been made with either title lately. Real life just gets in the way sometimes. That can't be helped. However, I'm pretty sure both games will be released on cart form this year. Famous last words I know .

I like the walls graphics very much.
As you pointed out, this game recalls to the mind the marvellous Atic Atac.
