Funny, it reminds me when I accidently came across someone sitting on EIGHTEEN new 19 inch arcade monitors just because they stopped producing them. He was like showing off on some arcade forum, but probably pissing those who were looking for them. Do you understand the mentality of these people? I mean he piles up 18 CRTs for what? And then goes out to tell you he is not selling any of them...

They are rare because collectors think they need six :ponder:

If it has the box, pick it up, loose you can find them all the time.

You must live in the Magical Atari Kingdom where everything grows on trees! Can I move there? You can't find anything in Idaho at ALL! Well, except cows and potatoes.
thats not true... Idaho also has a lot of white supremacists.

Are you upset of the thread I made where I bought 3 ColecoVisions(each with Atari 2600 expansion modules) I scoured from Craigslist? heh.

There is no reason to be upset over hording, just amused... unless like Red Dodge Em another member has clearly been searching for years and you keep buying them up specifically to corner the market to keep it high. When I have more than one of something it's for sale, or a project. The best one stays with me.

Just picked up a briefcase, cool item. Been looking for one for a bit--the last one I bought on eBay was a fuzzy picture and turned out to not be the official case. Hate it when that happens.

This one is pretty sweet, though. Came with a Vader and 12 games, nothing great, going to keep my spare sixer in it.

EDIT: PLUS a cool-ass sticker! Never seen one of these before, looks vintage-y!

Thanks! I was amazed this passed by on eBay without another single bid! At first I thought I may have been missing some important detail about the auction. It all looks super good tho and after shipping it was about $60 total!

That's a great deal. I paid $60 for my case, nice vader, and a few games, but didn't get that sweet wooden cart holder or the telestar to go with it! Did get that awesome sticker though and the seller was cool and not a weirdo (craigslist).

Card holder is awesome; I really have a weakness for those. Even if they were ones that were originally for tapes or 8-tracks or whatever I am still likely to buy them.
