Hey, does anyone have a dead XF551 that they'd be willing to part with? I want to make a schematic for the '551 in some circuit-board software I have :)

email the guy an 8-bitdomain.com.. He did that like 10 years ago, and was selling them.. By using a double sided board, he reduced to the size that would bolt directly on the back of a 3.5" floppy mech.. He hasnt sold them in forever, so he may be willing to let you have his layout files..

Also, I have the schematic for it too, if you are interested...

Now that is very cool. Good price for those boards too. I would have loaded up on them.

To be fully compatiable with an XF, the micro controller would be an 8040 or 8050 so any rom upgrades would plug straight in,

Also, B&C computer (www.myatari.com) still sells the XF551 PCB for $75.00.
