Preppie is here! Teeing off on the course may be delightfully fashionable but it can be pretty dangerous on this crazy green. This is a tour de force that dares you to cross an alligator filled river and recover your wayward golf balls. Dangers lurk everywhere, from speeding golf carts to monster frogs. Only a true Ivy Leaguer could face up to this kind of punishment.

Emulators are fine as is whatever controller you feel the most comfortable with. Screenshots are great but not mandatory. Please do not use any cheat/hack options. These include auto-fire, unlimited lives, invincibility, etc.

Settings: 1 Stick, 1 Player, Level 1 (Default)

Contest ends on: 11-23-09 at 1:00am EST.

Sorry. I should have thought about that. The ROM file has been added to the original post.

10,150.

First time I ever played Preppie. Nice how it feels so different from Frogger, especially the jump dynamics. Nice tunes too. I would like to see the source code to the music, to see how such nice quality is done, something I never figured out.

13,240.

I dimly remember this game being something of a cult hit. This is the first time I've ever played it, though.

Edit:

Tried again, did better, updated score.

Pretty unique little game. Not as much in common with frogger as I initially thought.
The difficulty ratchets up pretty fast in this one. I love the flat pancake/steamroller effect when you get run over in the street. That seems a bit original.
Not much time to chase golf balls lately:
