MAME portable Any thoughts?

I recently had an idea to make a portable Mame machine. has anyone else thought of this of tried it? if so, how did you build yours?

Do you mean like a handheld? Check out the GamePark consoles... the new one is called the GP2X I believe. They play MAME, and many other emulators already. Or maybe you're talking about someting totally different than that. And nothing wrong with building your own custom unit for the fun of it of course.

i bought a fat PSP and DL'ed custom firmware. and now i run MAME on my netbook too...portable enough.
