(Question asked on FaceBook): What do you do for fun?

(Answer I gave on FaceBook): I play computer games...or play vintage games from Atari 2600 area! What? You Wii, PlayStation, & Xbox players should BOW DOWN TO ATARI for creating the home console! :!:

=========================================================================================================

Here is my epiphany where I finally realize that I pledge my alligiance to Atari and everything Atari. :lust:

If you are with me, please repeat that pledge in your response: :D I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO ATARI, GIVE THEM GUIDANCE TO THE SOURCE OF THEIR PLEASURE, FOR ATARI WILL EVER BE KNOW AS THE CREATOR OF HOME ENTERTAINMENT, THE 6 (or 4) SWITCHER THAT SWITCHED OUR FANTASIES FROM ARCADE HALLS TO HOME DORMS! WE LOVE YOU ATARI! :D

Geez, I like Atari, but I'm not going to rant about it.

Be carefull you don't end up worshiping a false idol. Atari (Nolan Bushnell) didn't CREATE anything. He took other peoples ideas and executed them better. Computer Space came from a mainframe game called Spacewar, Pong came from Ralph Baer, and the idea for a cartridge system came from Fairchild. Nolan found a way to pull the ideas off and make them profitable. Nothing wrong with that by the way - Welcome to America.
For the record I love Atari and have a lot of stuff. Not going to recite any pledge, though - that is a bit wierd.

It's nice that the mentally ill are given internet access at the home these days.

I prefer the term 'deranged' (ah, those poor rangeless cattle,) or 'lunatic' (love the moon reference, natch.)

You mean they used to have to leave the house to go online? Guess it's a good thing I never go anywhere. :D

Prorobb, if only you had posted this earlier...

I just recently pledged my allegiance to Intellivision and George Plimpton's weiner, due to the superior graphics and controller. The Intellivision isn't bad either.
