ok, i sorta want to make something for the atari and it all looks complicated. is there anything that i can use to make it more understandable, or if there is a site that tells me whats going on instead of telling me to $1110hfjjjsdfjaj or whatever? i just want to make a.. simple something... (mabe a picture that shows up on the screen).

ive heard that the 2600 is the hardest machine to program, so is there anything i can use that is for someone with no experience with this stuff?

batari basic is a good place to start, but with little to no programming experience you're only going to end up getting a GIGANTIC headache.

This Batari bsic video tutorial give some awesome insight into programing. Daniel Davis has done an excellent job in presenting the basics. Hope it helps. http://www.atariage....isual-bb-video/
