Roydea6
Hello there! So, the topic says it all. Is there any way of converting Atari800Win save states to .atr or .xex etc. for using them on real hardware? Thanks, Frank Yes, one example is for the Atarimax Cartridge software: MAXFLASH Multicart Build/Utility Script - c2005 Steven J Tucker Information and updates at http://www.atarimax.com/ usage: perl C:\Perl\maxflash\maxflash.pl [switches] [hacks] [disk.atr] [cartridge.bin] [dump.a8s]
Rybags
Kind of. But for starters, I'm fairly sure they're in compressed format so an unpacker would be needed. Then you'd need to know the exact layout of the file - source code of some A800Win+ versions is available so it shouldn't be a major problem. Another problem is you need a piece of free RAM to hold the loader code - problem there is that there is rarely the same free area from one program to another. One way around that is to use extended RAM (130XE etc). A different approach might be to just write out the areas of memory that the program uses with Monitor commands, then construct an XEX file from them, then manually add the remaining stuff like Hardware Register and 6502 Register states.
