She Who Must Be Obeyed gave me Wii Cricket for Christmas after I had been bemoaning the lack of a cricket game on the Wii for the last two years.

I reckoned that cricket would have to be one of the most suited sports for the Wii with batting and bowling ideal for the Wiimote and I have not been disappointed.

Batting is excellent, picks up all of the shots you play in real-life and let's you play as you actually would (with more sixes than I could ever hope for on Village Mode).

Bowling is not as good but still quite good with lots of spin and swing options. I guess if it was ore realistic there would be another rash of Wiimotes in ceiling fans etc!

Fielding placement is good and playing through the ashes is great. It is a shame that only the real Aussie and English teams are present, but hopefully there will be more licensed editions in the future.

Anyone else played this game, and what are your thoughts?
