Fantasy Zone (SMS): 20 mins.
Would you rather that I keep creating a new post when I have something to add, or should I edit an older post? I don't want to feel like I am spamming the thread, but I don't want my data to get lost, either.

That's a good question. I would much rather have you create a new post. I usually update the posts into a database several times a week. If you go back and edit a post after I've already counted it, I won't see the update and whatever you played probably won't get counted.

I have to admit that I'm more surprised by the 21 minutes of Chopper Command and 7 minutes of Plaque Attack than all of the time you spent with Kaboom!

OK, here are my times for... essentially the last two weeks.
I forgot that there was another partial week running through December 31st (which actually was the continuation of the week before which I did post for), so here are my times for December 28th through January 10th.
They are not 100% accurate since MESS doesn't show in the window title what's being played on the system, and since I also process my screen logging adding the games I've played, but somewhat fell behind... I'm only up to January 5th by now (but the recording for classic games should include everything played until today)
Anyway, these are my times:
The classic games (relevant for the top 10):
Centipede (TI-99) 543 minutes
Map Craze (TI-99) 3 minutes (this is my entry for the crap game competition over in the TI-99 programming subforum)
CrapGameTursi (TI-99) 3 minutes (Tursi's Crap Game competition entry)
Centipede (Arcade) 16 minutes
The non-classic games (irrelevant for the Top 10, may be incomplete):
ORF Ski Challenge (PC) 20 minutes
Transform (Online game) 2 minutes
Dreamsdwell stories (Online game) 150 minutes
Tuper Tario Tros (Online game) about 20 minutes (this is a cross between Super Mario Bros and Tetris)

Continuing on with Intellivision gaming...
Pinball - 6 minutes
Donkey Kong Jr. - 21 minutes (I have to admit that I was very impressed by this port. This is as good as DK was bad)
Lock N Chase - 15 minutes (I liked this more as a kid. The controllers seemed frustrating)
Mountain Madness: Super Pro Skiing - 5 minutes (A good sequel to Skiing but with a date of 1987 I'm doubting many people have even played it)
Auto Racing - 2 minutes (Yuck! I was playing the version where left makes a left turn and right makes a right turn. I read somewhere that Mattel changed this in later versions so left always turns your car left on the screen (a right turn if you're upside down). I'll bet it still sucks)
Pac-man - 18 minutes (Another really good port)
Masters of the Universe: The Power of He-man - 4 minutes (I fired while my 4 year old drove our ship. Is this a defender clone?)
Worm Whomper - 20 minutes (Wow, this is a really good game. Kind of like a sideways Missile Command for farmers)
Pole Position - 5 minutes (It didn't seem like a bad port but I'm not much of a Pole Position fan to begin with so I lost interest fast)
Q*bert - 10 minutes (This was better than I thought it would be. My 4 y.o. really enjoyed jumping Q*bert completely off the cubes).

No problem. I'm not against updating our definition of classic to include SNES and Genesis if the group wants. I'm still trying to figure out how to handle the CDI (I went ahead and added it to the database).

Wow! What a week #1. Moving to the Classic Gaming forum brought lots of new games and people posting (thanks!) as well as a little controversy. I waited for new season to move the thread to this forum because I knew it would bring some new challenges. What is the definition of a classic system? It's probably a little different for everyone. I've gone ahead and logged the CD-i, SNES, Genesis and N64 games. Additional games and systems can't be a bad thing can it? I did not log the Wii, Xbox 360, or even the Playstation. They didn't seem quite classic enough yet. Yes, I know the N64 and Playstation were direct competitors.
151 games logged totalling 5,246 minutes!! Here is the Top Ten for Week #1 (Season 3)
1. Centipede (TI-99) 543 minutes
2. Kaboom! (Atari 2600) 519
3. Global Defense (Sega Master System) 315
4. Dragon Warrior IV (NES) 270
5. Galaga (Arcade) 163
6. Space Invaders (Arcade) 152
7. TV Sports Basketball (Turbo Grafx) 133
8. Super Mario Brothers (NES) 125
9. Wonder Boy in Monster World (Genesis) 120
9. Worms (Atari Jaguar) 120
11. Time Soldiers (Sega Master System) 105
12. Galaxian (Atari 5200) 100
Thanks for getting us off to another great start! Don't forget to list your times with your posts.

new week
NES:
Jackal - around 20 - 25 minutes
I need more 8 bit games lol. And I got to find some of my NES games too.
Also, if I was to play one of the games on my Flashback 2. Would it count?

FB2s count - just log them as 2600 games.
Same principle as playing a 2600 cart in a 7800 or a 2600 cart in a CV Expansion Module - just log it as a 2600 title

Well, I don't know how anyone else feels, but I personally play a LOT of 16 bit games, and I am enjoying participating in this deal, so I would like to see the Genesis and SNES get added. On that note:
