During their press conference promoting Dead Rising 2, Capcom announced yesterday that they are releasing a live action movie based on the Dead Rising franchise. The movie will be released on the web this year and Xbox360 owners will get early access to the movie via XboxLive.

A movie about Zombies trying to kill humans in a mall! I'm amazed no one ever htought of doing that before! Besides the other 300 times I mean.

Judging by the quality of other vidgame-based films, I'd say we've got a real winner on our hands. Web release? Well, that makes it sound even better, like House of the Dead but even crappier if that's humanly possible.

Let me guess, It's a movie based loosely on a game based loosely on a movie. Can't lose!!!

Looks like the warehouse from the game eh? The one attached to the mall. Probably didn't have the budget to actually film IN the mall.
