Does anyone know what the difference between the two versions of the lode runner ROM is?

there is a 128k Version and a 64k Version. But I don't see a difference.


Any info out there? =)

Where's the 128K one from?

Sometimes people copy them and unnecessarily double-up, so maybe there's 2 copies of the banks when only one was needed.

The second half of the 128k image is identical to the 64 version, while the first half contains a semi-repeating pattern of random data. So I suspect that the bigger one is an overdump.

Are you sure one isn't the original 64K cart and one isn't the disk version converted to cartridge format?

Nah. The last 64KB are byte-to-byte identical; both have the Atari 1987 copyright.
