In the past I have had several dreams about finding rare games in the wild. Last night I had another one. I was at one of those antique co-op places where there were rows and rows of big wooden tables with stuff on them. I happen to look under one of those tables to find several Atari 2600 systems in old cardboard boxes. One had just the system with no games, but another had the system with about 20 games.I recognized one game by its shiny label, it was Chase the Chuckwagon..nice. Then I looked through the other games. I spied one with a blue label and the picture of a shark on it partially hidden by another game on top of it.I hoped it was Lochjaw and not Shark Attack and as I uncovered it I saw that it was Lochjaw. I was flipping out. A CTCW and a Lochjaw in the wild..unbelieveable. I quickly looked for a price on the box..$19.99.That was the end of the dream as my baby started crying and woke me up.In my dreams I always have great luck in the wild finding rare carts..not so great in real life :(

Yeah, I have way more luck finding stuff in dreams too. In addition to rare stuff, I tend to find a lot of very strange carts that don't exist in reality... I'm always really disappointed when I wake up and I'm not actually going to get to find out what games they are.

I think this is a common occurance with collectors. I've had my share. The other day I dreamt I went to a library and found comic books real cheap. It is sad to wake up.

I think you are in my head. I always find these totally weird and yet completely plausible games that no one else has heard of and get really excited and then I wake up and swear it was real. Sometimes I'll even look around to make sure the box isn't somehow sitting in the floor of my game room!

Me too. I often find games that I've never even heard of before but seem plausible in my dreams.
