Important Note: This weeks competition is over and no further scores will be accepted.

The evil Gravitar has set out to destroy the universe! His deadly weapon? Gravity!

Gravitar bombards unsuspecting galaxies with his hostile gravitational forces. He then installs a powerful reactor within each solar system of the defeated galaxy, creating a killer sun that destroys all life on the surrounding planets. He blockades those planets with lethal rammers and
with automated bunkers programmed to shoot.

So far, Gravitar has conquered four galaxies, each made up of three solar systems. And intelligence reports hint that our galaxy may be next. Gravitar must be stopped before he adds our galaxy to his list!

Hints and Tips

The Manual

As always, you really should read the manual. In case you don't have the manual, AtariAge has a typed copy available online. Unfortunately, it doesn't provide any specific hints, though it may still prove worthwhile to read it.

We played this game once before in the High Score Club, way back in 2004.

katana

if you want to turn through a tight spot turn around the opposite direction your going and hit the gas in that direction slowing you down and turning at the same time.

and on the dark levels you can shoot the planet and it will show it for a short time.

Has anyone made it through the maze and back? Is the timer for both ways, or just to get in?

Ugh, I can't make it through without crashing... I need a better touch, maybe I'll try a different stick, I think my Wico I've been using favors left and down too much.

also i forgot to mention if you want to open up a new set of planets you can also detroy all the things on each planet
on that level too or just go through the maze and back.

im sure you've made it to the target in the middle, but in case you hav'nt you shoot it dont touch it.

On the board - 5300 7150 7600 13750

Using my wico stick for this one. Experimenting with the foot pedal for the tractor beam. I keep hitting the tractor beam at inappropriate times otherwise. Foot pedal seems to be working.

New best for me. I still can't believe how fast the difficulty ramps up. Level 1 isn't too bad, but I still can't complete Level 2. Who did they get to play test this thing, Todd Rogers?
