Looks good.

Is this VBXE or normal hardware?

It is VBXE-free project :), proof we don't need any VBXE to make ZX-like games. VBXE is evil ;D

Hi to all, yes it's just a stock Atari :) I was also planning to create a vbxe enhanced version based on the PC remake later on when it's completed.
I've been working on MM since the start of the year having a bit more free time than usual.

Now we'll get to see what all the fuss was about in the 80s :D
I love decent platform games

Hi again all, thanks for the comments. Yes I'll ensure that it's ok with both Pal and NTSC Atari's. I'm working on it every free minute of the day so I'm hoping to get it completed in the next month or so.

Am I missing something here? This game appears to be using ANTIC $F, but where's all the color coming from? Player-missiles?

Absolutely outstanding!

Can Atari version use joystick rather than keys?

I love this type game -- "platform," "ropes and ladders" -- great stuff!

Thanks. Yes :) it will be playable via joystick, I've not changed the scroll text from the original Spectrum game yet which just lists the key controls (although it was also joystick compatible). I'm wondering whether it's worth having keyboard control at all on the Atari conversion?
