That game is not at all rare. That guy is just trying to cash in on the Stadium Events craze.

who could blame him?
hell I might just put mine up there at a tenth of the price.

it's probably worth a shot. better odds than the lottery.

How difficult would it be to make a counterfeit "Stadium Events" cart?

Hell yes, in Madagascar. Everywhere else, they are used to prop up wobbly Pac-man arcade cabinets.

Summary: People are money hungry idiots. Nothing else to see here...

I offered him $1.99 and for the additional terms I added "I sure would love to pay you what this game is ACTUALLY worth..."

And he charges you $5 for shipping...

Now, why would you ship a $9000 cart through vanilla USPS parcel? I can't believe for $5 that you can insure a $9000 cart.

I never know if I should criticize people like this or salute their boldness. That may be the most overcpriced game I've ever seen on ebay.

Why even list it for 9,000? Does he really think someone is going to be dumb enough to part with 9,000 on a cart without knowing it's true value?

Someone needs this cart for thier collection. Maybe in the fair state of Michigan this title would be worth the price?
Who knows, maybe secretly inside this cart, there is a Stadium Events!

Question & Answer

Q: Uhh, why are you selling this game for $9,000?! If you type World Class Track Meet into the search field on ebay, you'll notice EVERYONE else is selling theirs for $12. The reason other people were able to sell their game for $9,000 was because their game is Stadium Events, the game you advertised that works with the Stadium Events pad. If you had the pad, I can understand selling this at a higher price... Do you have the pad to use it with?? But anyway, I don't believe you'll get any bids until you drop it at least $8,950. Mar-13-10

A: No pad...sorry. But just for kicks, even though there is a Make Offer button, I lowered the price as per your suggestion. Thanks, J.R.

He lowered his price to $8,950

I am not taking the guys side or knocking him. But i do believe he's doing it for charity. There is a link to his auctions on this site here. But then again he should clarify that in the auction description.

OH my GOD....seriously? I got a couple of track meet carts, maybe I should toss them up on Ebay

I hope that dude knows that he has to Pay ebay for the privilege of putting that price on the cart. Yeah, I guess it's not a lot, but time after time can still add up.

It sold for $25. But that's still overpriced.
