I've had good luck with the Logitechs for PS2, but I've wanted *REAL* Sony wireless for years and years. Hoped somebody would make a Dualshock 3 receiver but never saw one.

I like the feel of the original Sony, and most importantly, I like the D-pad with 4 separate direction buttons; they're great in fighting games.

So these Chinese knockoffs appear on Ebay.

Two for $20 plus $5 shipping, funky looking X button
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 230439002602

One for $9 plus $6 shipping, normal looking X button
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 130373459432

One for $4 plus $6 shipping, funky X button

Too good to be true? Too close of a copy to be in stores?

Too "generic" to search for a review of.

Any thoughts?

Just say "thank you China" and hit the BIN. I've bought these and the clones for the Wii and they work perfect.

The X button is the insignia of the Galactic Empire. That's ironic. . . and by ironic I mean FUCKING AWESOME.

I'm not sure what that one is with the odd X button, but the one with the normal X button looks like the officially licensed Katana Force 2 wireless controller for the PS2. It's currently the best PS2 wireless controller on the market, even better then the various Logitech models.

I have two of them and they've been great. I never use my Logitech anymore (Which is also one of the improved versions and not a earlier model) after buying these a year ago.

Edit - I'm wrong, even the one with the normal looking X button is a knock off after compariing the reciever with the ones from the Force 2 controllers.
