The 600 XL gives only a red screen after "Power ON". Pressing any key has now effect. I use the original power adaptor. The antenna-cable was missing, i use a standad 2600 jr. cable...

this problem is discussed a lot in the 8bit forums and you may find some more help there.
First I would check that the PSU is ok, if you can try the system with another PSU that would be great. Next open her up and remove/clean/re install all the socketed chips (pretty much all of them on a 600)
If you are still having problems, replace the 2 ram chips, CPU, and MMU in that order, after that I have no idea.
I will say that I have bought back at least 5 XL/XE machines from the grave by doing the above
