I find myself needing another Coax selector switch. I went to Radio Shack and was appalled to find them charging $18 for a simple two switch selector. I remember getting a three input one from them not too long ago for $14. So I've given up on buying one from them and thought I'd turn to AA.

Does anyone have a spare two to three input coax selector/switchbox for sale?

I wish I had an extra to share...

I was looking for a couple myself the other night, and stumbled across this site.

high isolation switch

I haven't done business with them yet, so I have no opinion.
The price seems pretty reasonable though.

Uh, yes.

The copper colored ones will work as an A/B switch.

That looks reasonable. I wonder what the shipping runs?
EDIT: Eek! $9!

@Ax: Wrong type of box. I need the selector type thing, not the standard RF Switchbox like you have.

@Ax that's like modern art. You should frame that pic and sell it on Etsy!:P

@Tempest- The shipping is a bit high $8.99 for ground. So I guess that's just a tad high...

edit-
I see you found the shipping...

They will do what you want. Plus you don't even have to pay to ship em. They even daisy chain to make multiple inputs.

With two hooked up together you have three inputs and one output.

Wow that's kludgey but it should work, and the price is right as they say...

That's why I keep all kind of boxes of junk parts sitting around. Never know what you will need to "get the job done."

Won't the signal bleed be terrible on a setup like this? I recall doing something similar back when I had like 8 consoles hooked up at once all via RF and I know some of the stronger singnal machines like the NES or newer where ok but weaker stuff like the 2600 got some aweful video noise from the chain.

Probably. I can't see how you're going to get away without some signal loss, but I only need to hook up two consoles so using one of these should work.

The most I've done was 8 and that was a store test rig. It was good enough to tell if the items being traded-in worked or not.

Tempest, I have a Rat Shack coax A/B switch with remote, one of the fancy electronical ones. I'll bring it to MGC if you want, I'm sure we can work out a deal on it.

Tempest I have a 3 or 4 port radio shack coax switch box you can HAVE. it's got the big buttons on the front, real sturdy. I'll never use the thing. I can ship it and you can reimburse the shipping when you get it or send me something cool in return that you don't need or want anymore.

PM me.
