I'd get it myself but too strapped for cash right now. Wanted to see if anyone would like to get their retro game on a cool older laptop :)

Hope someone wants this!

Picturesx now in that above thread.

Did you PM him? It appears that it's taken already, they were just quicker on the draw than me. Nice laptop. Now that I know you're looking for one, I'll keep my eyes open for you.

Shoot! I'd have taken this, but it's already gone? Two reasons I could stand owning a WinTel laptop:

Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds Win95 game
AtariMax multi-cart products

<----- prolly the biggest WotW's fan (all incarnations) you'll ever meet :) Even have the strategy guide. lol

Did you know this version was released for the original PSX too? Now that's rare.

Also have a graphics text adventure of War of the Worlds for the Spectrum on cassette based on Jeff Wayne's version. That's cool to hear you're into it too CC!

My dad used to listen to the original LPs all the time with me when I was a kid....very good stuff! I wish they would make more creative rock operas like that these days. I used to sit around for hours just staring at the album art and scaring myself while listening to 'ULLLLLAAAA!'
