Thanks for the update - glad your health is better, that's more important than the boards we ordered.

Stephen

immune system has been a little whacked since i got surplussed from my last job... probably has something to do with the depression. having a 5 yr old that we watch while her mom goes to school and works doesn't help either :) Stuff that makes little kids sniffle or have a slight upset tummy can lay an adult out for weeks :(

Howdy!

Hope you are doing better, especially on the "morale" front.

For whatever it's worth, I did want to THANK YOU for your tiny board... I decided to take a very close look at its pin-out/connectors, and it turns out that what I was reading from it had little to do with its actual (and correct) installation. It is now properly installed (with replacement screw, and without blowing the original thread on the IndusGT's mounting rail). It's sits perfectly vertically, and with minimal-or-no pressure on the bottom pin-header or the upper cable-connectors on the analog board.

Your supplied disk worked like a CHARM, it tested the board OK., and after some patient setup, I was able to fully boot CP/M and have now created the necessary floppies. This addition pretty much completes and seals my IndusGT-restore project, and now brings them to their FULL potential (clearly the best overall drive made for the Atari, after all said-and-done). Two computer systems in one (CP/M and Atari).

Also, I have to say that I was F-IMPRESSED when loading Super Synchromesh WITH the RamCharger... It's funny to see stuff being loaded, much, much faster, and without EVER reading the magnetic surface of the floppy... :-)

THANKS!

F.

I'm glad that you got it in there and tried it out, I do like my indus drives with the sramchrger installed :)

I haven't had that much luck with it - your board is excellent and working fine, it is the CP/M programs I am having trouble with. I will hopefully have some time to play this weekend, I will try to post a video or two showing the problems.

So, is anybody else having success with CP/M? I am now up to 19 floppies of working software (10 double sided disks).

Tried two versions of COBOL this evening (DRI-COBOL and Nevada COBOL). I cannot get neither version to work :(
